I’m still quite shocked at this moment. I’ve been thinking of this moment since he has been replaced by Tim Cook but knowing it actually happens doesn’t makes things more real. I had to go to the homepage of Apple to be sure. And then I just died a little inside.
I had my first laptop in 2003 and it was an iBook, and it just changed my life. I know it’s stupid, but for somebody as geeky as me, it’s been huge. I have so many memories about Apple that it feels like I’ve lost somebody close even know I don’t even know him. He’s somebody I always fight for because I’m surrounded by people who don’t like him and I have to convince them of the genius of this man. Maybe things will be easier now…
I can tell you I waited 3 hours under the rain to get a T-Shirt from the first french Apple Store, or that the first thing I ever visti when I travel is the local Apple Store to finally decide it looks exactly the same than the others.
